About Christopher Hanson

About Me: I am a life-time resident of the Hudson Valley and current resident of the City of Newburgh, NY. My wife and I live in its Historic District in the home we restored/renovated in 2001. Since then, I have done the same to several other homes in the city. I serve as a board member of Newburgh's Architectural Review Commission, served on Newburgh 2020 (Board of Directors for revitalization advisory) and currently on the Board of Directors for Newburgh Preservation Association. I am happy to share my renovation & restoration knowledge with clients - and because I have been a buyer and seller many times myself, I can relate to my client's many concerns first-hand. Besides real estate, my educational background is in fine arts & graphic design; and I am still a professional musician as well. I feel my years of home renovation/restoration and my years as a touring musician in a 7-member band have taught me a great deal about negotiation, cooperation, patience and hard work. Areas of Expertise I am a NYS Licensed Real Estate & Broker/Owner of HANSON REAL ESTATE PARTNERS. I am CIRE (Com. & Investment RE) Certified, a Certified Buyer's Representative (CBR), hold NAR's GREEN designation, am an Accredited Staging Professional (ASP Realtor), a current board member of Newburgh's Architectural Review Commission and other real estate advisory boards, currently on the board of directors of the Newburgh Preservation Association, and have years of home renovation/restoration experience, I specialize in historic Hudson Valley homes - and in the Newburgh/Beacon area market as a whole. However, I am always happy to help good clients with any kind of residential real estate needs, in any price-range, in Orange, Ulster, Dutchess and northern Rockland County.
