The name Equitas [pronounced: ek-wi-täs] was derived from the Latin word meaning fairness. As the English language evolved equitas became the root of the word equity. Equitas Realty is comprised of a management team, associate brokers and sales agents that have been working together serving the Greater Capital Region and Lake George area since 2008. The brokerage's mission is to guide and support the career Realtor through the changes in the Real Estate industry that are happening at the speed of technology. With offices located in Delmar, Saratoga Springs and Glens Falls, Equitas Realty is one of the largest brokerages in the Greater Capital Region. Our agents transact real estate as far south as southern Green County, as far north as Essex County and from the Vermont border west into Hamilton, Fulton, Montgomery and Schoharie counties. Our agents deal in all varieties of real estate including commercial and agricultural as well as all types of residential property and land. Formerly associated with a national franchise system, in 2014 the decision was made to take the company independent.
