Nancy Achstatter's unwavering commitment to excellence earned her the top spot in her office as the highest-performing real estate salesperson from 2002 to 2005. Her impressive track record included Rockville Centre, Oceanside, Baldwin, Freeport, Merrick, and surrounding areas. In recognition of her exceptional accomplishments, Nancy was listed among the "Top 200 Realtors in Closed Sales on Long Island" in 2005. Her remarkable success as a top-producing agent fueled her ambition to establish her own independent real estate company - Home & Hearth Real Estate - in 2006. We are incredibly proud to have Home & Hearth listed amongst The Real Deal magazine's Top 50 Long Island Residential Brokerages in 2016. In 2009, we were humbled to receive the "Business of the Year" award from the Chamber of Commerce. We are also delighted to have received recognition from Nassau County legislators and the New York State Senate for our involvement in various charitable and civic organizations. It is our passion to serve the community, and we are grateful for the opportunity to do so. The story of Home & Hearth is one of family legacy. Nancy's grandfather, James McBride, was a successful realtor in Rockville Centre during the 1920s and 1930s. His company, Canterbury Realty, developed several notable regional projects. James was also one of the founding members of the Rockville Centre Links Country Club. Nancy's familial connection to the industry has been a constant source of inspiration, motivating her to pursue a career in real estate and carry on her grandfather's legacy. The success of Home & Hearth is a testament to the enduring influence of family. Recognizing the importance of maintaining a competitive edge, Nancy worked to earn certifications from the National Association of Realtors, including: Graduate of the Real Estate Institute (GRI) designation, which includes advanced courses in real estate finance, law, and marketing, as well as technology training and marketing certification. The Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR) designation is designed for real estate buyers' agents who work with buyer clients. Accredited Staging Professional (ASP) designation is the premier Home Staging Designation. Seniors Real Estate Specialists (SRES) designation addresses the needs of home buyers and sellers aged 50+. e-PRO - this certification program helps REALTORS® master today's advanced digital marketing techniques. With the e-PRO® certification, REALTORS® increases their ability to reach customers, expand their capabilities, and build trust by safeguarding client information. Nancy has also taught adult education classes titled "How to Stage Your Home to Sell for Top Dollar" and "Selling Your Home With or Without a REALTOR®." She holds a degree in business management from the University of Buffalo and studied photography at Mount San Antonio College in California. Nancy is a firm believer in contributing to the community. She has served twice as Vice President of the Oceanside Kiwanis Club, been a member of the Executive Board of The Oceanside Education Foundation/Schoolhouse Green, volunteered her time to help people in need through Oceanside Community Service, and served five terms on the executive board of LIAAC - Long Island Aids Care Inc.
